I have been busy making bookmarks made out of paperclips. I got the idea from Angie and they are very easy to make.

They are for the teachers, but I think I'm gonna have to make some for me.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

It was good night for me last night.... managed to do 3 cards, but two of them are for PBSC.

Like the idea of paper patch, but after I made this one I thought It would of been better if I had layered the paper patch also .

I then made this one too! This time I layered the paper patch and I think it's so much better.

LOTV 56

I finally made a card!! I have been trying to craft for a couple of days now.... The only thing I accomplished was a more organized craft room and I'm hoping I'll be able to craft again tonight. No Calgals this month.....I invited some of the gals for a play date tonight, but it looks like it will be just me, myself and I.

There's a prize for this week's challenge if you use LOTV stamps, but you can still play along if you don't own any, just no chance of winning the prize. I do like the sketch though...

Can't wait!

It's my youngest daughter's last day of school today and here's what I made for her teachers. I was gonna put 4x4 cards with envelopes inside, but my boxes were smaller and since I waited till the very last minute to do them (last night).... I knew I didn't have enough time to make cards and envelopes that would fit in the box.
I put gift card and cookies instead.

MIA

Sorry for being gone so long! My last post was the 11th and I have been trying to have some me time in my craft room, but no such luck! We went camping (Gooseberry campground) for Father's Day weekend and just been busy catching up. And the fact that, when ever we come back from camping and with all that fresh air.... I'm just too tiered to do anything and all I wanted to do was sleep. Sunday night I went to bed right after the girls 7:30 and didn't get up till 7 the next day.

Hoping I will be able to play tonight and have a card or two to post for you.

Tiffany Doodle challenge 01

New challenge to follow!! Tiffany just started TDC and it's a monthly challenge that comes out every 7th of the month. With a chance to win up to 7 digis of your choice!!!

Here's my take on TDC#01. The digi image is by Tiffany, one of many freebies from her blog.

I had a hard time coloring this digi with my copic markers. The ink from the printer kept smudging and I was only able to dab around it and not directly on the ink. No shadowing at all!!!

I used staples paper and I even heat set before coloring. Guess I'm gonna have to do some research....

Clean and Simple

Well.... I tried to keep it clean and simple! The frame for my image is busy enough that I couldn't follow the sketch 100%. I went with the string instead and only one button instead of 2.

Happy Wednesday!

It's actually depressing here in Calgary... It's raining and it's here to stay till Friday. At least it's not SNOWING!!
Was able to play a bit yesterday and here's my Mojoliscious # 142 and PBSC #104

It's my youngest orientation today and she will be in kindergarten in September. She is soooo excited!!!

I'm excited too!!! FREEEEEDOM...... FREEEEDOM..... 2 hours and 43 minutes Monday to Friday may not be freedom to you, but it sure will be for me!

Additional note: I made the flower using my MS corner punch. Scrapowl did a medallion tutorial using MS corner punch. If you're MS fan... you should check out her blog.

Awesome Weekend!

We just came back from our first camping trip and I actually enjoyed it!! I was cold during the night, but I will just bring extra blankets for next time. I guess I was the only one that was cold. I'm actually looking forward to our next camping trip. Here are some pics of the trailer.

Tuesday Challenge (Sketches by Tamara)

Wooo Hooo! Check me out with my scrap page. Maybe I can finish the one I started when my youngest one was born.... 5 years ago!! Over at Tamara's Sketch challenge is a scrap page (different one every week, from card to scrap booking) This one didn't come easy peasy at all. The sketch is asking for one picture and that's where the trouble started. My page was so naked with just one! And since we have lots of photos, I thought I'd put 3 instead. There I go again not following the rules!!

I did my journaling with flowers.

I even used my cricut to do my title.

PBS Challenge 103

Had to make sure I followed the rules!! Shame on me for joining the challenge and not using PB stamps and just used PB small sentiment!!! I love how this one turned out. I used Sweet Marabella DP by Daisy Bucket, PB Teddy and Company, MS Lattice border punch and Classic Frame nestabilities. I usually add the sentiment after when I know what ocassion I want to use the card for.

Doing good! I've done all of last week's challenges except for Mojo and I guess I can start all over again (this time starting with mojoliscious). I used Feathered Friends for this challenge "Retired SU" I also love the sketch that Sue and Allison provided us with (SCS SC282. )
