Cal~Gals Challenge
Tracy brought a sketch for us to do last Cal~Gals meeting and this is what I came up with. Well..... it's actually Nancy's. The stamp the paper and even the bling were all hers (she even gave me some card stocks to take home) Thanks Nancy! (((((HUGS)))). I wasn't gonna do the sketch because I can't create when I'm in a group.
I just love the color combo and of course Penny Black stamp. After the meeting when I got home (before midnight) I went straight to my craft room and made 3 more Nancy's cards.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and Thanks for bloggin' by!

More Embossed Vellum Cards

I'm trying to use my not so favorite color of stampin up card stocks and boy it was very hard to create out of my comfort box. I think I'm all done with embossed vellum, well... maybe you'll see some of the sentiments only. I just love the look of it and how they are raised and shinny.

Summer Fun
Well... if you live in Calgary, I don't think we will ever see Summer. We are going to see some white stuff again! I was just about to put all the winter clothes and boots away and make room for the summer sandals and flip flops, but I guess I'm gonna have to wait a weee bit more.Another embossed vellum card. This is great for male cards (I have lots of girly stamps) you just google an image and voila. Next time I'm going to color with copic instead of embossing.
Have a great day and thanks for bloggin by!

Ugly Card
This one is one of the 15 birthday cards that I made. I spent a lot of time on this one trying to fix it. It was a hard one because the main card is clear plastic and it's very tricky to attach anything to it with out the glue showing.
Finally gave up and made this one instead! I still used the clear plastic but just a small portion of it.Thanks for bloggin by!

At last!

I created something! Wow... the last post I did was March 12th and it is now April 17th, over a month! OMG and I struggled with this one. Believe me... If I had the same paper as the sample from the Mojo 74, I think I would of copied the whole thing right to the T.
I have an order for 15 Birthday cards and I know I will be doing all the easy one first and then struggle with the male cards.

Where's my MOJO?
I have been trying to create for weeks now and all I have accomplished was a more organized craft room.
Last night I did 3 cards. I tried to make it really simple and tried to make as many cards using the same card stocks.
You can't really see it, but it's embossed on vellum.
I printed all the flowers using my printer and then quickly embossed with clear embossing powder while the ink is still wet. I got the idea from Mel. You should check her blog cause she's always sharing some neat stuff.

Craft and Gab
It was my Craft and Gab yesterday and the 8 ladies I had over had lots of fun. They usually ask for sandwich bags to put their cards and this time I thought I would show them how to make their own bag. It took a little bit of explaining but at the end each one of them figured it out.
I got the instruction from Cami's blog.
And of course Penny Black's stamp! It was not fun coloring this time because I was using my stampin up markers. It is nothing like the Copic!

You made my day

Correction with the stamp that I used...it's not Penny Black' it's by stampabilities (thanks for pointing that out CGS!). That would teach me for not writing things down eh? I still love PB stamps and the stampabilities and I'm not the only one cuz I got this image from the Cal~Gals. I got it from Shannon and Dianne had the same one too.
Yup.. you guessed it! copic markers and didn't write the colors. I think we should scratch that "Next time thing" because obviously I will never get it right! I know I use my copic binder a lot when I'm coloring.
I used my fav paper by Daisy Bucket this time. Not a lot of craft store have this kind of paper here in Calgary ( well.. maybe down south)
The layout is week 60 of Mojo Moday.
It's a short week for me and hopefully it will be a nice sunny long weekend. Can't wait!
Thanks for checking out my blog!

Dreams come true

Ahhhhh.... I can't wait till we can do that outside! Gosh.. don't get me wrong! I'm not complaining with our weather. I'm just saying I can't wait.
Check him out eh? I got the image from the Cal~Gals meeting. I think it's Tracy and it's Penny Black. Again... I used my copic and never did keep track of what I used.
Hubby is giving me a hard time with my copic compressor! I must say... he is right! I do need to use it more, oooops.. I should say... I do need to USE it! I used it before and I couldn't believe how much ink I wasted trying to figure out the spray pattern. I know Marianne Walker touch that topic before and maybe I should give it a try again.
Have a wonderful Monday and Thanks for bloggin by!

Birthday Princess
It's my niece's Birthday on the 13th and I made this card for her. Now.... I'm hopping that I will remember to mail it out before it's too late. I have a habit of having my cards ready, but yet have no time to mail them out on time.I got the stamp from Michael's and I colored the princess with my copic. The paper is thick and textured and didn't really want to do a lot of blending. Still in the process of playing around with the copic and different type of paper.
Have a nice evening and thanks for bloggin' by!

Rainin' Daisies
I did it!! this is my mojo monday sketch #9. LOL I know I'm like 60 some weeks behind, but I had my image already pre-cut and colored and just didn't know what to do with it.
I wish I can tell you what copic markers I used for this one. Not really good at keeping track of that. Hmmmm.... maybe next time. Thanks for bloggin' by!
