Happy Friday my Paradise friends!!  Are you glad it's FRIDAY?  I hope our weekend will be the same as last week.  We did absolutely nothing and we didn't even leave the house! It's nice to have days like that... it's always go go go from Monday to Friday.  Even the girls were happy to stay home.

I hope you will find time to join us with this week's Playing in Paradise Challenge over at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog. This week's challenge is by Nina!

I didn't have a stamp that's coffee, tea or latte.  And since I needed an Anniversary card.... I used this stamp instead.  They could be drinking coffee or tea..... you just can't see it.
I actually made one already, which I delivered yesterday evening....realizing I didn't take a picture for my post.  So, I had to do a quick one last night...some what similar to the first one.

Hope you will check out the rest of my team mates for some ideas.

I'm Back!

Well, well, well... I think I'm back and I have two cards to share with you.  And of course a couple of hats that I personalized for my girly girls.

I hope my MOJO will surprise me today and help me create some cards... I tried to craft last night, but only got OJO.  Of  course I need to have a card ready for today for our friend, but so far I have nothing.  It's only 11 am! lots of time (huh, who am  I kidding?)

"You're only young once.  You can be immature for a Lifetime"
Isn't that the truth!  My digi image is by Mo Manning and I colored Lizzy in a tizzy using PSE.

My youngest one was criticizing my lettering... she said I should do better with the letter D next time...looks like an O she said.  Geez! And she's also going around telling her friends, to just tell me what colors they want and that I will make one for them! What can I say.... that's our Madisen for you.

Playing in Paradise #84

Happy Friday my Paradise friends! Thank You so much for taking the time to check my little corner.  It has been very quiet lately and I hope I will find time to do some crafting soon.  I'm still crocheting...and visiting Michael's often, but to buy yarn instead of paper.

I hope you will find time to join us with this week's Playing in Paradise Challenge over at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog. This week's challenge is by me.... and  I hope it will give you versatility. You can use the photo or the color combo for inspiration.

For my card, I used the photo and only one color from the color combo.  I only end up using one color because I didn't have the right shade.  I could of used what I have, but they were not pleasing together.

Hope you will check out the rest of my team mates for some ideas.

Hats and more hats

No cards from me, because I've been busy making hats for my girls.

This purple hat is the original hat that we paid $25.

Which I then copied the pattern.

The other $25 hat!!  I had a hard time copying this one.... but once I figured it out, there was no stopping.

Then decided to add some buttons and flowers.... my models are pretty eager to model all the hats.  Well.... my youngest one at least.

Average price of yarn were $2.... can't beat that!

Playing in Paradise #81

Happy Friday my Paradise friends!!  Long time no post.... We were gone camping for two weeks and while we were in Montana, I picked up another hobby and have been crocheting ever since.  It started when we went to Big Fork and I purchased crochet hats for my girls, that's worth $25 each. I couldn't believe how expensive it was, considering the price of the yarn.  I know how to crochet a bit... but not enough to do a hat.  I'm gonna have to take some pics and post it next time.

Here's the view of our camp site. My kind of camping.... full hook up with Internet! Yeah baby!!! totally roughin' it.

I hope you will find time to join us with this week's Playing in Paradise Challenge over at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog. This week's challenge is by Jessi!

Quick card for you....created Friday 12:29 A.M.  LOL! I thought I'm all caught up with my PPC cards....turned out I did PPC 82 and not 81.

Playing in Paradise # 79

Happy Friday my Paradise Friends!  I hope you're enjoying your summer... our summer weather has been fair.  There's been a couple of days, where we wish we have air conditioning.  But we have ceiling fan in each room and it will do for the short heat wave that we get.

I hope you will find time to join us with this week's Playing in Paradise Challenge over at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog. This week's challenge is by me!  You have two choices from my challenge.  You can do the color inspiration or the picture.  With the color inspiration, it's hard to have the exact shade, so don't sweat it! What ever shade of  Orange, Yellow and Green will do.

I used distress ink pads to do the color inspiration.  I first heat emboss the image and then rubbed the ink all over using a sponge block.  The harder you rub the ink, the more the image pop.
Hope you will check out the rest of my team mates for some ideas.

How to Play:
1.  Everyone is invited to play! There are no requirements or restrictions on what products you can use to create your  challenge entry.

2.  You have until noon on Thursday, August16th to link your entries for this challenge below.

3.  Please link directly to your entry photo or your specific blog post featuring your project, not a general link. We reserve the right to remove invalid links. If you're uploading to a public forum, then use the keyword PPC79 so we can find you!

Happy Birthday

Morning to you all!  Hope your weather is to your liking, where ever you are.  Thanks for taking the time to see what I'm up to.
Made two cards a while back.... Same design, just changed the layout a bit.
I used distress ink pad with sponge block over the embossed pieces, to give it that vintage look.  I personally like the first layout more.  I wanted to showcase the blue and green alcohol inks with blending solution on photo paper.

Playing in Paradise #78

Happy Friday my Paradise friends!!  Well.... it's August and that means back to school will be just around the corner.  I don't even want to think about that yet.  We've been busy with play dates and trips to Calaway Park.  We haven't even hit the water park and the zoo yet.  My girls have been wanting to stay home, specially when it's hot outside.  And of course... wanting to go out when it's raining.
