I hope you will find time to join us with this week's Playing in Paradise Challenge over at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog. For this week.... we have a color challenge for you.
I was lost the minute I saw the challenge for this week (been busy with camping and waited till the very last minute to do my card)... I had all the colors, but couldn't quite figure out how I was gonna do my layout. Top that off with.... which color will go with what. The colors are beautiful, but I think my problem was that, mine are not the same shade. Instead... I used my Alcohol Inks with Alcohol Blending Solution on photo paper, then cut my butterflies with Spellbinders die cut.
How to Play:
1. Everyone is invited to play! There are no requirements or restrictions on what products you can use to create your challenge entry.
2. You have until noon on Thursday, May 31st to link your entries for this challenge below.
3. Please link directly to your entry photo or your specific blog post featuring your project, not a general link. We reserve the right to remove invalid links. If you're uploading to a public forum, then use the keyword PPC68 so we can find you!
4. Please fill in your name (not the name of your card or the name of the challenge) as the caption/label within the linky tool.
Good Luck and Thanks for bloggin' by!

I love the beautiful mix of colours on the butterflies! I had a hard time with this too, and I bet the same one - not having the right shades meant the colours didn't go as well together. Such a gorgeous picture to work with, though!
Beautifully orchestrated Merlie.
It doesn't look like a last minute card.
Keep smiling and creating
Love this idea...I think you did a great job!
This is so, so pretty Merlie! Love the way you added texture to enhance the colours.
Your butterflies are breathtaking! Beautiful beautiful take on the colors this week and the inspiration photo. Gorgeous!
