Riley and Sophie

I'm loving my copics right now (now that I figured out the shading technique) I thought I have enough, but now I'm second guessing my self...I think I want them all!!
I thought this would be perfect for the New Year's resolution...I didn't have the right sentiments that's small enough, but thought "smile" is pretty good as in "smile and don't sweat the little stuff"

And how about some BLING~BLING. I didn't want to do each scallop, but it was uneven for every second one so... I had to do it all. (Yeah! that was a lot of work)
What do you think? I got 3 cards out of 1 DP.

Get well & Thinking of you

Love this little guy. It was fun coloring him.
I got this image from Scrapbook Pantry (House mouse) I'm very happy with the result though.
See... I'm sticking to my idea! 2 cards from the same paper.

Make a Wish

Wow! it was a good weekend for me....very productive I must say. I sat there for a while looking for my mojo, but couldn't find it anywhere in my CLEAN craft room. Started pulling stuff out and the next thing you know...Messy but productive craft room.
The stamps are Penny Black's (love her love her love her) colored with my copics and then used liquid embossing for some dimension and shine.
I have so much scrap paper (5 drawers!) that I decided, when I use a designer paper I will try and make as many cards using the same paper, so it will cut down my stash. I bet you have the same problem too!
Have a great evening and thanks for bloggin' by!

Just Checking in

Hello you all! It's cold again here in Calgary, but at least no more SNOW. Well.... that is what I'm wishing for. I'm just itching to make some cards and hopefully tonight will be the night (kill 2 birds with one stone) Friday is usually my laundry day and since my craft room is in my laundry room I get to do both. GEEEZ I'm so lucky eh?

Happily Ever After

Ahhhh.... It was very nice to actually get a chance to craft! I got the image from Scrapbook Pantry and even though it's not very romantic for Anniversary card, I knew I'm going to use it no matter what.
I did the background before and It's Tim Holtz ink with alcohol blending solution.
and of course Martha Stewart's border punch. Well... that's all from me today and I hope I'll be able to craft again tonight (have to catch up with my monthly birthday cards and maybe another class for February)

Copic Markers

I have been busy with my Copic Markers lately... a little bit of coloring here and there, but mostly organizing my copic binder. I've had my markers for a long time now and just getting the hang of it. I played with them when I first got it, but the result was not something you can post <> I think you know what I mean.

Soooo... after trying to match colors from my previous colored images that didn't even come near it. I decided to blend all my copics so I can refer to it and not have to guess anymore. Some blended really good and some were not so good (I kept it still so I won't make the same mistake)

Violet Family
Red Family
Yellow Family
Green Family
Blue Family
"E" Brown Family
and of course "Marianne Walker" tutorial!! I don't have all of the copics, so when I do her coloring I color with what I have which I think will be the closest to her color.

If you are new to the Copic world, I would suggest you do the same cause it will eliminate the guess work and wasting good EXPENSIVE paper.

I'm still in the process of mixing different color family together. So my organizing is not done yet!

Scrapbook Pantry

It was the Scrapbook Pantry's 1st Birthday last Saturday and I wanted to check out the Copic table cause I haven't been playing with mine. I did get a one-on-one tutorial from Shannon way way back in the Summer, but kind a forgotten how to do it. I was so inspired by that 5 minutes tutorial that I went home that day and colored away... I just have to find some time to actually put them together and make some cards.

I don't know what it is.... I thought I will have plenty of time to craft after the Christmas and New Year BUZZZ, but... It is not looking that way at all.

Christmas in January

My Christmas present from my little girls just arrived yesterday. Most of them are Christmas stamps cause I don't have that much. I guess I'm gonna have to wait till Christmas to play with them.

Feathered Friends

I was checking out Kijiji the other day and found an add for stampin up stamps for sale. She had 100 stamps for sale for only $$$5.00 each!! I wanted this set for the longest time and I got it for $5 . The funny thing is.... we're only an alley away from each other. The other set of stamps I wanted is "Farm Fever" but she said it's way toooo cute to let go. Can't blame her though...

Do you live in Calgary and have this set who is ready to part with?? Leave me a comment please.
