Craft and Gab

It was my Craft and Gab yesterday and the 8 ladies I had over had lots of fun. They usually ask for sandwich bags to put their cards and this time I thought I would show them how to make their own bag. It took a little bit of explaining but at the end each one of them figured it out.
I got the instruction from Cami's blog.
And of course Penny Black's stamp! It was not fun coloring this time because I was using my stampin up markers. It is nothing like the Copic!

" Thank You for being You" is a very simple card and very easy to put together.

The bead dress was the fav of the class. It was the simple technique of punch and duct tape.

I knew the bags will be a hit! The idea came from Angie Kennedy Juda

Happy Valentine's Day

Today is our 6 years Anniversary! Wow...I can't believe it has been 6 years already.

Here's my card for the hubby "Happy 6th Valeniversary!"

Penny Black's stamp from Tracy. I'm hopping there will be more new stamps by PB next Cal~Gals. Well... I know I have 2 already and will probably find more by then.

Hope cupid is good to you today!

Huggie Kisses

Hershey Kisses that is! But my girls have always called it huggie kisses. Done!! all 48 of them. And the best thing about it is that... not only it was easy to make, but the total cost was under $10.00
I just used cupcake liners and voila!

You made my day

Correction with the stamp that I used...it's not Penny Black' it's by stampabilities (thanks for pointing that out CGS!). That would teach me for not writing things down eh? I still love PB stamps and the stampabilities and I'm not the only one cuz I got this image from the Cal~Gals. I got it from Shannon and Dianne had the same one too.

Yup.. you guessed it! copic markers and didn't write the colors. I think we should scratch that "Next time thing" because obviously I will never get it right! I know I use my copic binder a lot when I'm coloring.
I used my fav paper by Daisy Bucket this time. Not a lot of craft store have this kind of paper here in Calgary ( well.. maybe down south)
The layout is week 60 of Mojo Moday.
It's a short week for me and hopefully it will be a nice sunny long weekend. Can't wait!
Thanks for checking out my blog!

Thinking of You

Paper embroidery! I haven't done one for a long long time. I love doing embroidery when I'm watching TV ( or should I say... listening to the TV)
Love the fence border punch by Martha Stewart. The lay out is one of the mojo sketch and I think it's week 56.

Dreams come true

Ahhhhh.... I can't wait till we can do that outside! Gosh.. don't get me wrong! I'm not complaining with our weather. I'm just saying I can't wait.
Check him out eh? I got the image from the Cal~Gals meeting. I think it's Tracy and it's Penny Black. Again... I used my copic and never did keep track of what I used.
Hubby is giving me a hard time with my copic compressor! I must say... he is right! I do need to use it more, oooops.. I should say... I do need to USE it! I used it before and I couldn't believe how much ink I wasted trying to figure out the spray pattern. I know Marianne Walker touch that topic before and maybe I should give it a try again.
Have a wonderful Monday and Thanks for bloggin by!

Birthday Princess

It's my niece's Birthday on the 13th and I made this card for her. Now.... I'm hopping that I will remember to mail it out before it's too late. I have a habit of having my cards ready, but yet have no time to mail them out on time.

I got the stamp from Michael's and I colored the princess with my copic. The paper is thick and textured and didn't really want to do a lot of blending. Still in the process of playing around with the copic and different type of paper.

Have a nice evening and thanks for bloggin' by!

Valentine's treat bag

Made the little bags and tags using my cricut. I was gonna do the same for all of my girls classmates, but that would be toooo much work. Total of 48!! I just did it for the teachers, and will do something easy for the kids.
Enjoy the rest of your evening and thanks for bloggin' by,

Rainin' Daisies

I did it!! this is my mojo monday sketch #9. LOL I know I'm like 60 some weeks behind, but I had my image already pre-cut and colored and just didn't know what to do with it.
I wish I can tell you what copic markers I used for this one. Not really good at keeping track of that. Hmmmm.... maybe next time.
