My Little Crafter

My oldest daughter created this one today. I'm soooo impressed with her creativeness!!!!
I wish I can say the same for me... yesterday, I took a break to clean my table and I knew that starting over again with a clean table will just screw me up. I was in my craft room till 3:00 am and have nothing to show for! (We had some friends over last night for supper and drinks. And since I don't drink, I decided to have coke instead. That was my second coke for the day and boy... was I wired! So, I decided to do more cleaning and organizing till 3 am)
I even re-organized all of my scraps. "LOL" Well... when you throw all of them out, there's nothing really left to re-organize.
And that is how my daughter created this master piece.

Break Time

Wow, I think it's time to clean my craft room! I started making the cards for my class and so far I have done 5 (that's total of 50 cards ready to be put together) I'm so happy... I only have 5 more to go and I need them done by the end of this week.
Thanks for bloggin' by.

Staying home today...

We were gonna meet some friends at the Zoo today, but had to postponed because of the rain. The sun is trying to come out, but it's very windy and cool. I guess we're just gonna have to stay in and do more crafting.
I have never done a card where there's no image. I have been wanting to use Labels 4 and the image I wanted to use was a bit too big. It's still the distressing technique and a little bit of alcohol ink with blending solution.

Rock the Farm

Again, I used the distressing technique. The one thing I like about this distressing is that It doesn't ruin the colored image. Of course I used copic markers and even when you sponge on top, it doesn't alter the colours (It might, if you sponge it very hard)

I did a little bit of doodling too. I wanted to use my Opaque pen by Inkssentials for the doodling part, but the ink was not flowing consistently. I have 5 of them and not one is working (maybe I'm storing them the wrong way)

Check out what my girls have been up to. Our poor dog! at least she's not wearing a princess dress.

Till next post, Thanks for bloggin' by!

First Kiss

I used Sarah Kay stamp for this one and colored it with my copic. I was inspired by Jennifer, that I just had to try some of the technique from her tutorial.

I just love that distress look about it. Wait till you see my next post.. it's my fav!

Congratulations

I just love that border punch by Martha Stewart! This one was requested by hubby, who gave me 4 days notice. And of course... Miss procrastinator here, didn't do it till the night before. I didn't get to bed till 1 in the morning. I did 4 cards though...

Relax and smell the coffee or tea

You're probably sick of orange and green combo eh? As I said before... when I get stuck, I usually reach for my favorite green. And since I found some Daisy Bucket DP, I just had to use it. And look... "LOL" it's green and orange!

I just finished the order and there will be more cards to post. Now I can start my 10 cards for my class.

Penny Black

I can't even tell you what DP I used for this one. I can tell you that I used Labels 3 with a corner punch for the main image. And of course... EK border punch.

I have been watching two peas videos by Jennifer where she uses Distress Inks and other product by Ranger.

I have some of the ink pads and inks, but can't wait to get the ink dabber and crackle paint. The link is from Mel Stampz, you should check out her blog too. She is one AMAZING lady!

It's Monday!

That means it's Mojo Monday! I always look forward to the beginning of the week, so I can check the Mojo Monday blog. Have to print some of them to add to my Mojo book.

This card is not a Mojo Sketch. I found some scraps and thought I should use it. "LOL" especially when it's green and orange combo.

I think today will be a Lazy Monday for us. We are just gonna stay home and craft. I know I still have to finish that order and also have to prep for a Scrapbook day (some of our friends' kids are asking if they can come over for a craft day) total of 6 girls including mine.

Thanks for bloggin' by and hope you have a wonderful day.

Smokin' Hot

Ahhhhh.... We can do what the hedgie is doing today. It's going to be really hot today and tomorrow. The only thing we are doing today, is to organize our basement, so we have a cooler place to hang out.

I was trying to do one of the Mojo sketch, but my image was too big. I guess I'm gonna have to try again. I hope I will be able to play tonight and maybe finish that order for my SIL. I also have my class set for the 29th of August, which is a week after we get back from California. I guess I'm gonna have to start that too before we leave.

Get well soon

I'm liking this colour combo more and more. I just love it when you have no clue what you're doing and then you come up with something that you like at the end.

The image I got from Shannon, which is the one I colored when she gave me that one-on-one copic tutorial. Thanks to her, for I don't use anything but my copic markers. I remember when I bought them from Shelley and wondering what did I get my self into. Spent hundreds of dollars and can't color S*@#. But... with practice, practice, practice I got the hang of it. Don't get me wrong... I still struggle with the shadowing part.

Rain Rain Go Away

I think the little mouse is thinking of the same thing. We just came home from a play date and my girls are already complaining that they are bored. I'm already booking them for more play dates next week and hopefully they can come out and play. "LOL" I wish I can set a craft date for me. Can you come over and play?

Perfect Day to PLAY

It's a rainy day today and it's a good day to stay inside and play. My SIL placed an order last month and I thought it would be a wise idea, to have them done before we leave for California.
The background is Tim Holtz technique (alcohol ink with alcohol blending solution) and added some Stick with it by Doodlebug Design for some bling~bling.
And of course... I used my copic to colour the image. It's funny how I don't use anything else but my copic. My girls can actually borrow my stampin up markers and prisma pencils to do their own card. They are happy about this sharing thing... but they are just wondering when will I share my copic with them. I don't think I'm ready to share my copic with them yet... LOL.

I'm Back

Our basement is finally dry and we were able to put everything back in place. The only place that didn't get wet was the bathroom and my CRAFT room. But because we had to pull the rug off, we had to move things around and some of it went in my craft room. The water... was from the outside tap ( my girls are in the back yard a lot and they usually water my garden from time to time and might of left the water on.)

The card is very simple, but colourful (I think) But then you should know by now, that anything with green will be colourful to me.

More glitter glue

This one is the same as the last post. Acetate with glitter glue. LOL, I think my little grumpy guy is tiered of green.

Well... our basement is a mess and that's including my craft room. It was flooded last Friday and we were busy over the weekend drying it up. I was trying to get some crafting in between and can't wait till every thing is back to normal.

Thanks a bunch!

Here's a card that's not green for you. The same technique though, acetate with glitter glue.

***This was yesterday's post, I guess I forgot to publish it.***
It was a beautiful day today. We just came back from a Birthday Party and the ride home was a bit chilly. Hubby took the top, windows and doors off his jeep. It was a nice ride when the sun was out, but when the sun went down... it was pretty cold. Even though it was a rough ride and the wind blowing my youngest one still managed to take a short nap.
Enjoy your day and thanks for bloogin' by!

One of a kind

Another green card for you. I don't know if you can see, but my image was stamped on acetate then colored from the back with glitter glue. I made them a while back (last year) lol, and just using them now.

Kind a lazy when it comes to stamping images. I like to mass produce, that way I don't have to keep cleaning the stamps.

And the flower embellishment, I got from Michael's (of course!) a pack of sequins that I just layered together with wire and beads. It would of been a lot easier if the holes were big enough to use a brad to hold it together.

Happy Canada Day!
