March birthday cards

Just trying to finish all of my March birthday cards before the end of this week. Had a tough time doing the masculine cards, can't do much with them! no bling-bling, ribbons or decorative border punch. You can't really see it, but I stamped the fellas on clear accetate then colored them with my crayola glitter glues. As you can see I didn't color the small areas, I tried but it didn't work. ( when I put the card together I turned the clear accetate around so the glitter glue side is inside. If you don't do that, the glitter glue will peel off .) I like the look of it though.

Totally cool stamp from stampin up! colored her with my prisma color pencils and gamsol with a touch of glitter glue again. DCWV papers and Martha's border punch.
Wish you can see this up close! stampin up stamp on water color paper using my stazon ink then colored the dress with Sakura gel pens.
This is my fav! I used the butterfly piercing template from Scrappingreatdeals and I don't know what kind of technique you would call that , but I used a muti colored thread on the butterflies. I got that technique from family stamper.

Birthday card

It's our friend's birthday today and I made this card to help him get his wish. It's a very EXPENSIVE wish so.... we ask if he can have at least one of the four cars! That's an Audi, Lexus, Benz and the Beamer inside the card.

Liquid Applique

Liquid Applique is a paint that when it's heated it will give you dimensional effect. My girlfriend and I have been looking for this all over Calgary. We finally ordered from all that scrap and waited months for them. The pen is very small and they cost $3.58 each! I was at Michael's killing time till I have to do my run when I came accross the paint section for fabric and VOILA! guess what I found!!! 1.25 Fl. oz dimensional fabric paint for $1.79 probably 10 times the size of liquid applique (you see... we have checked there before, but we were looking for "Liquid Applique" name on it, we even asked the staff and they just looked at us like we were on something) The brand name is TULIP and they have different kind. You have to look for PUFFY kind. (oh... my girlfriend is gonna kill me because I haven't told her yet.)

Birthday invitations

My daughter's birtday party will be next month on the first and the second. Yes... two parties!!
One is for friends and the other one is for family, hubby wanted only one party this year. Can you imagine having 20 kids plus parents? no thanks!!

The invitation is a purse style, when you open it (like a purse) her picture dressed as a princess is on one side and the time and date on the other. I did 12 of them and last night, Yes.... in one night. No cuttle bug here girl! I had to do it the old fashion way . (except for the dry embossing!)

Paper Racks
Clear stamps in CD case and Cricut cartridges
Rods and baskets from Ikea
More scrapbooking storage from Michael's

More corner and border punches and of course my Penny Blacks's stamps

Punches and more PUNCHES!!

Old pictures of my craft room.

My little studio for my card. I could never find a spot on my table to do this so I bought this organizer from Michael's and use it for taking pictures

Shelves from Michael's (of course) and wire baskets from the loonie store.

See my 12x12 paper storage? I made that! yup! I did. well.... not made it from scratch. That's 2 sets of wire cube storage solutions, I just used the other set for shelves by using the ties to hold it together.
My cuttle bug area and stamps storage

See the Vacuflow canister? lol I wanted it moved but hubby said it's the master piece in my craft room!

I used the tool organizer to hold all of my embossing powder/beads/eyelets. My cd rack from Ikea to hold all of my clear stamps.

oh yeah!!!! My fav! I love punches, love love love love love them...... I used the ikea rod to hold them. Can't wait for our water tank to go so we can change it to tankless water heater. We have 2 and 1 is already down, do you know where I'm going with this???? Yes.... more room in my craft room.

Jan/Feb cards

Our friend just gave birth to a baby girl, so I made this card by using martha stewart border punch, stampin up oval punch and concave square punch. I always use stampin' up card stock as my card and bazzill textured paper as my background. The vellum I got from Michael's and you can probably see the dimensional tape behind the animals.

When I'm not making cards, I'm usualy sewing my cards. I like that technique because I don't have to use glue.

Mc Happy Day 2007

Personalized Thank You card for 2007 McHappy Day. Just used my cuttle bug thank you embossing folder, I heat embossed the front page with clear and stardust for the name with dimensional tape.

More old cards

Sorry for some of the pictures are quite dark. Thought I'd post them even though they're pretty dark
