Happily Ever After

I made this card for a wedding that we went to on Saturday. I was gonna do it Friday night, but didn't end up starting it till 10 pm. And of course Saturday(wedding day) was a busy day for me and I had to do 2 cards that Friday night. To cut the story short.... I waited till the very last minute to do my cards!
And that is why we have the same image for Wedding and Anniversary. I really need to build up my cards so I don't struggle when I put things off. Me need serious crafting time!

Piecing

Another easy one for the ladies. The only thing they will be doing is piecing the little fairy and a lot of layering.

My DP is Daisy Bucket, which I picked up 4 for $1 from Scrapbooker's Paradise. Good deal to pass on, so I bought all of it. "LOL" I wasn't that lucky, there was only 8 sheets.

Peel~Offs

Peel~Offs is one of my Faves. When I do my class, I just bring the whole sheet and they pick what sentiments they want to use.
I'm hoping the threading(don't know the proper term) will not be overwhelming for the ladies. I did the threading with my other class and the ladies were confused. Totally my fault though... I guess the length of the thread so each one can do their own, but it turned out it was too short. No biggie right? Just cut some more and continue threading... wrong! Trying to remember where you stopped and which direction you were threading was very confusing ("LOL" shhhh... I was confused too!)
This time, I will have more than one spool of thread and they will thread with out pre-cutting
the thread.

Curiosity

I was curious what would happen to my bling~bling if I run it through my cuttle bug. The answer is... It was hard to crank the bug, the bling cracked but still in one piece.
And after all that experiment, I think we will omit cranking the bug.
Another simple card for my class.

Welcome Baby

I colored this one with my prisma for my class. Not very happy with the coloring job though....
For the baby boy.... I used my copic markers. LOOK at the difference! I know the ladies are not gonna like it when I tell them the cost per marker. We are not using my copics for the class, I just want them to see how much better it is with copics. "LOL" any excuse will do, just as long as I can use my copics.

Back to our routine!

This morning, our house was not a happy place at all. Today is my Dry Run (practice) for the school bus. There was a lot of crying and screaming from the girls. I can't blame them though... for I must of snoozed the alarm for 30 minutes before I finally decided to get up.
This year my route is pretty good. We don't have to wake up the girls at 6 in the morning. We will be waking them up at 7 instead (well... we will see if 30 minutes is enough to eat half a toast and drink half a cup of milk) "LOL" it's very painful to watch them eat! And I don't think 10 minutes is enough for them to change (they are at that age where nothing is cool enough to wear!) Oh... did I mentioned they are only 4 and 5! Yup.. nothing cool to wear!
I have a class this Saturday and here's a treat bag that the ladies will be doing. Nothing fancy, just something simple and quick.

August already!

Wow! Where did the Summer go? Only 3 and a half weeks to go and we are back to school. Part of me is looking forward to having our old routine back, but not looking forward to getting up early.

Here is the other card that I created the other day. The DP is by We R Memory Keeper and I used all four designs on this card.

Acrobat

I finally created 2 cards after that little break of mine. A couple of weeks ago, Scrapbookers Paradise had their 4 for $1 paper and I bought mostly s.e.i. dp. I always wait for SP to have that sale (like I don't have enough in my craft room) The reason why I have so much... Is because I'm always looking through my stash of scraps, which I spend more time looking than creating. I finally threw all of my scraps and promise my self to use the new stuff. Wow! It's amazing how fast you can create, specially when the dp is double sided or 4 designs on one side and solid on the other (That is why I love Daisy Bucket dp)
