Playing in Paradise #73

Welcome back my Paradise friends!!  Are you glad school is over?  I know I am.... we get to sleep in and wake up whenever we wake up.  That sounds great!!  Although I have one kid that I watch three times a week and he gets here about 7:30, so that's not so bad.

I hope you will find time to join us with this week's Playing in Paradise Challenge over at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog. This week's challenge is brought to you by Angela.

I am so impressed how this one turned out!!! I have always wanted to water color but  can never get the hang of it.

What you didn't know...... is that I did three before I figured out to go lighter.  It took a while but the end result is so worth it.

And I have been coloring ever since!!!  Just wanted to show you how I store my Distress Inks.  I used an old water color case  to hold all of my Distress Ink refills (just a drop or two) and it doesn't dry out.  When ever I need to use it.... it's ready and no waste.  You just have to make sure your brush is clean before moving to a different color.
Hope you will check out the rest of my team mates for some ideas.

How to Play:
1.  Everyone is invited to play! There are no requirements or restrictions on what products you can use to create your  challenge entry.

2.  You have until noon on Thursday, July 5th to link your entries for this challenge below.

3.  Please link directly to your entry photo or your specific blog post featuring your project, not a general link. We reserve the right to remove invalid links. If you're uploading to a public forum, then use the keyword PPC73 so we can find you!

4.  Please fill in your name (not the name of your card or the name of the challenge) as the caption/label within the linky tool.

Good Luck and Thanks for bloggin' by!

I love the pictures showing your progress, Merlie! The finished card is lovely - I'm so glad you stuck with it. And what a clever idea for storing your reinkers for painting.
Today we're headed into school for the last part day. Assemblies and report cards, and then SUMMER!

You did a wonderful job - I love the way you approached the sunset in the final version.
And it's cool that you can use your distress inks as watercolours - I wouldn't have thought of that!

Your card turned out beautifully, Merlie! You really did a great job with the distress inks; sounds like a fun technique to try.

Yet another addition towards the city's wonders could be the Chinese Products ongoing China Style Week. With its great economic climate, plus good sceneries, fashion is trailing not far behind.
